LINE-X Earns It's Place in the Franchise 500 for the Third Year in a Row

- LINE-X Franchise Development Corporation announced today it’s selection to the Entrepreneur Magazine’s 2004 “Best New Franchises”, coming-in at number 7 in the nation. In addition, LINE-X has been selected for the 3rd straight year as one of Entrepreneur's “Top 500 Franchises” and one of Entrepreneur's “50 Fastest Growing Franchises”.

LINE-X was invented by Claudio Burtin, a principle in Burtin Chemical Corporation. Mr. Burtin’s goal was to develop a highly durable spray-able polyurethane/polyurea coating that could be sprayed using commercial grade high temp/high pressure plural spray equipment common in the polyurethane foam industry. After almost 10 years of research and experimentation LINE-X was born. When he first coated the floor of a race car trailer, it gained instant popularity. Fifteen years later, LINE-X has grown to become the largest franchised business in the automotive after-market industry and the leading hot spray-on bedliner in the U.S. Currently, LINE-X has close to 400 locations world wide, spraying over 15,000 truck beds a month. It has also been demonstrated in applications such as bomb blast protection for concrete buildings and trailers for the U.S. Air Force and Army Corps of Engineers, using their Patent-Pending “PAXCON” formulation. Similarly, it has been demonstrated as a non-skid surface on U.S. Navy Submarines. LINE-X has been recognized time and time again as the leading hot spray-on truck bedliner and serves as the official bedliner of Circle Track, Stock Car and Four Wheel Magazine. Additionally, LINE-X was recognized in the Franchise 500 as one of the leading franchise opportunities in the U.S. LINE-X has clearly led a revolution in the coatings industry and is poised for future growth in this area.
