Atlanta, GA.
(February 02, 2000)
-LINE-X is proud to announce its involvement with Billy Ballew Motorsports for the 2000 NASCAR Craftsman truck series. LINE-X, the primary sponsor, has teamed up with Ballew Motorsports to run a series of races to be announced later this year. Driver Geoffrey Bodine will take the wheel at the Daytona 500 this year. Bodine, winner of 18 NASCAR Winston Cup races, will then pass the wheel over to his son, Barry Bodine, to finish out the season. "This will be a great opportunity for him (Barry) because Billy Ballew Motorsports has topnotch equipment and a super crew chief in Richie Waters," added Geoffrey Bodine. Billy Ballew Motorsports recently purchased the team from Black Diamond Motorsports and struck the deal with LINE-X to included Miccosukee Indian Gaming for sponsorship of the Ford F-150. The NASCAR Craftsmen truck series is televised nationally on ABC, ESPN, and Speedvision. Check for local times and listings.
