Tina Gordon and Line-X Team up for Charity
Owensboro, KY.
(August 06, 2000)
-Tina Gordon feels right at home driving her Line-X Chevrolet Monte Carlo but this week she was driving a golf ball to benefit Muscular Dystrophy, the Owensboro Area Museum of Science, History Motors Sports Center and several other local charities at the Green’s first annual celebrity golf tournament in Owensboro, KY.
"I enjoyed taking some time off this week to represent Line-X for such a great cause. The golf tournament and auction raised around $80,000 and I could not think of a better way to spend my time".
Following the tournament, Tina attended a dinner and memorabilia auction. During the dinner, Tina and other celebrity drivers were on hand to sign autographs. Some of the larger items that were auctioned off was a Dale Earnhardt, Jr. uniform, a Steve Park uniform, a Steve Wariner signed guitar, a Nestlé NesQuik hood and footballs signed by Joe Gibbs and Brett Farve.
Line-X sprayed-on truck bed liners out of Huntsville, Alabama, is the primary sponsor for Tina’s All-Pro Series. Subsidiary sponsors are Enginewear "Racy clothing for women" from Fairfield, California; Inland Buildings, Cullman, Alabama; and Phillips 66 Racing Fuel, Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
