Huntsville, AL. (June 21, 2002) -It was revealed today that LINE-X Spray-on Truck Bedliners has teamed-up with FOUR WHEELER Magazine in the production of their 40th Anniversary Truck Giveaway program. “When beginning construction of their 40th Anniversary Truck, ‘FOUR WHEELER’ chose LINE-X as their official bedliner”, said Paul DeSmet, Director of Business Development for LINE-X in Huntsville. Mr. DeSmet added “they were in the process of building a custom, high performance, off-road pickup featuring top-of-the-line gear in every category. When ‘FOUR WHEELER’ contacted us, LINE-X seemed to be a natural fit with the other high-end/high-performance equipment being installed on the vehicle.”

Once completed, the 2002 Toyota Tacoma will be featured in a series of articles in the publication highlighting its construction and performance. The October issue will focus on the installation of the bedliner, which was installed at the LINE-X Corporate office in Santa Ana, California.

In addition to the editorials to be published in “FOUR WHEELER”, the truck will also be featured in sister publications “4 Wheel & Off Road” and “JP Magazine” (by Primedia). Internet coverage will be given on each of the publications websites. Other media outlets include special in-store displays placed in select locations across the country, and featuring the 40th Anniversary theme.

“With extensive coverage at events such as the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) tradeshow (Nov. 5-8 in Las Vegas) and the 2002 Baja 1000 (where the truck will be the official Chase Vehicle), this truck will provide tremendous visibility for LINE-X” DeSmet said.
