Each event usually draws 30,000 to 50,000 people in attendance. There will be 6
to 10 major trucks with entertainers at each event. The major names in the
Monster Truck Program include Grave Digger, Bear Foot, Monster Patrol, and
Samson. Each event consists of a qualifying round, a free style event which
includes wheelies and doughnuts, and off road events.
To top off the LINE-X Obsession program, Funline Merchandise Company and Action
Performance Companies have released a 1:43 scale and 1:64 scale version of the
Line-X Obsession Monster Truck under their Muscle Machines trademark. These
trucks can currently be purchased at Wal-Mart, Auto Zone, Pep Boys, Meijers and
Long’s Drugs. Starting in January 2004, these vehicles will also be available
at K-Mart and Target. Both vehicles are die-cast and feature 4-wheel,
independent suspension and 4-wheel steering. Funline Merchandise Company/Action
Performance Companies are in the process of creating 1:72 scale and 1:24 scale

model kit versions of the Line-X Obsession Monster Truck.
“Never before has a line of monster truck merchandise been created at this
level”, stated Chris Kingston, President of Milestone Motorsports. “The only
other motorsport that matches this type of diversity is NASCAR”.
