LINE-X Coated EPS Foam Theme Park Display

The Challenge - The hand shown to the upper left is part of 64 foot tall styrofoam Budda used in a theatrical display. It was produced in CA and shipped to Charleston, SC. During shipping the foam was damaged.

The Solution - Once the foam structure was repaired it was coated in LINE-X. The LINE-X coating greatly enhanced the structural integrity of the foam statue. Infact it made it almost indestructable. The photo in the to the bottom left shows an ellaborate display commonly found at theme parks and museums. The expanded polystyrene foam (EPS) is carved, coated in a LINE-X and then primed and painted to create a highly durable and cost effective display.
